Prerequisites

Amp CLI or editor integration with MCP support.
An RedPanda programmatic token (opo_).

Setup

Generate your token

In the RedPanda app, open Account → Settings → Developers → Access. Create an OAuth app if prompted, then generate an opo_… token.

Generate programmatic token

Register RedPanda

Fastest path when Amp supports URL-based credentials:

amp mcp add redpanda https://api-production-a424.up.railway.app/mcp/opo_your_programmatic_token

Add to your Amp settings.json:

Start a new Amp session and ask:
